tarot and astrology services

I have been studying Tarot and Astrology for five years, and am grateful to offer readings. I want to explain a bit about my practice, so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not I am the reader for you.

Below are some frequently asked questions. The final question tells you how to get in touch with me to book a reading.

  • My tarot reading style is collaborative.

I will ask you questions and tell you the card meanings so that we can co-construct meaning . This leads to more accurate and empowering information.

My knowledge/intuitive gifts are informed by the traditional lineage of the cards, rooted in Hermetic Principles, Kabbalah, Numerology, and Astrology, fused with contemporary modalities in mental health, and popular self-help concepts.

Please note that I am not a licensed mental health practitioner, I am just inspired by much of their literature. My intention is to create a safe container for you to process and gain insight informed by divination.

  • I practice traditional astrology. That is, astrological techniques that can be traced to ancient Mesopotamia, and has since been innovated through its passage through the Egyptians, Ancient Greece/Rome, and Persia.

Modern astrology is more focused on the personality. Traditional astrology is more concerned with our life’s purpose and the events which facilitate it.

If you were to get a birth chart reading, I will certainly touch on your personality, but the true crux of the reading will be clarifying your life’s purpose and/or what you can expect this year if you get predictive work.

I utilize a techniques such as:

Analyzing Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign

    Annual Profections

    Solar Returns

    Progressions

    Transits

Don’t worry if you don’t know most of those terms, I just wanted to give you a sense of the broad range of techniques that traditional astrology can utilize.

  • We’ll do some sort of consultation just so I can get a sense of what you need. Some questions are better suited for tarot/astrology or both.

I’ll present a plan suggesting the types of techniques I think are the best fit.

Once you approve, I complete the reading for you. The reading will be a write up or recording, with the (highly encouraged!) option to follow up to debrief the reading and/or discuss more in depth.

The write up will include pictures of the cards, summaries of key themes, the key messages, as well as journal prompts for additional reflection.

  • You have options.

You could just get a simple birth chart reading, which analyzing your sun, moon, and rising sign. Or you could just ask a general question of the tarot cards.

Many people like to get a “birthday reading,” which will give them a sense of what the year ahead looks like for them.

I can help you determine what the best options are for you.

  • The range is from $50 to $150 depending on what you want.

If you want a simple birth chart reading and/or just want to ask a question of the tarot cards. The price will likely be $50.

If you want predictive work (what will my year ahead look like?) Or if you have an inquiry that would require me to use both tarot and astrology that will increase the price.

Typically, many people just want a birthday reading for the year ahead. I charge $100, this would come with predictions for the year based on various techniques and a tarot reading.

This sample reading is what you could expect for $150.

  • I do my readings from an empowering and strengths-based perspective. You will not leave a reading feeling afraid.

Much of what we think is “scary” about tarot or astrology comes from Hollywood.

The truth is far from it.

For example, the most common pushback against tarot and astrology comes from people who were raised Christian. But, many of the most popular tarot decks were created by Jewish and Christian mystics. There were even Christian astrologers.

Think of tarot cards and astrology as a “mirror.” They will largely help you confirm what you already know or are concerned about. (See my Interfaith America Articles on tarot specifically).

While tarot and astrology can alert you to certain problems, remember that most of the time, nothing irrevocable happens in our lives.

The most difficult predictions I’ve seen be made are perhaps related to job insecurity or a relationship on the rocks. But these are rarely situations the querent had no clue of.

In general, be ready to be open and have fun.
